Very nice words their mastermind,
I too wish you a Happy New Year and hope that the online Ad Market will improve in many ways, mainly in the hope that mainstream companies will understand it's true worth.
Although 2001 was not without it's benefits, It clearly showed that Ad dollars are not going to be simply gambled away in the future, that they will have to show results. This was demonstrated with the increase in PPC Search-Engine profitability (Goto, Findquick) and the increase in players in the market.
I hope that 2002 will bring benefits to both publishers, affiliate programs, advertisers and of course Online Forums. ;)
Best of luck with 2002,

Online ads are about supply and demand.
There are simply too many sites that want advertising, if the number will balance out somehow(as some give up on the market), I expect it the balance out. A few years ago it was the affiliates who had the upper hand since there were few of them, now the Advertisers have the upper hand, too many affiliates wanting marketing dollars.
If some of them drop out, the demand will increase and I bet Advertisers and affiliates will find some kind of a middle ground. I hope for this to happen in 2002.

I don't see it getting any better except maybe right to the end of the year, I don't see it getting any wore though than it is now I am sure it has definatly reached the bottom.
