this site has been WAY SLOW i can go downstairs and get something to eat and it will still be loading, whats up with it?? :(

I've been having the same problem a lot lately. Mostly during afternoon hours.

search is the slowest

Does the search use MySQL? If so my guess would be inefficient queries eating up system resources...

I think Peo uses the flat text file version of DBman, he should really switch to the mySQLman version.

I'm aware of the speed problems and I'm sorry about this.

We will be moving to a faster server shortly. I'm also working on having the searchable db of free hosts in php/mysql.

Good to hear this. Hopefully the site will speed up with the PHP/mySQL DB.
