How much does a T1/T3 connection and A .com Domain cost? And how does this .com thing work? Do they give you space to host on or what?

A T3 costs about $43,000 us a month. A .com costs anywhere from $10-$70 a year.

You use the space on the web server you have running off your T1 connection :)

You can buy a domain from http://www.000domains.com for $13.50 a year. You then have to sign up with a website host who actually gives you the space. I recommend http://www.hostrocket.com or http://www.thinkhost.com . You can get good deals for around $15 a month. To actually upload things to the internet I suggest http://www.cuteftp.com . You can get a 30 day demo drom their website.

Thanks for the info fellas, but I still haven't gotten a straight answer on how much a T1 connection costs. And one more question. What are some good sponsors to fund a website? I always heard that the porn ones were the best.........

ok i just found this out like yesterday a t-3 cost about 500 bucks a month in chicago last i heard. but in some places just a t-1 cost around 5 grand a month
