This domain is registered by www.opensrs.org but its suppose to be expired on on 24-Dec-2001.. but it hasn't expired yet!

whats the point of blocking out the billing contact? all we have to do is do a whois on that domain

it can take anything from a few days to several months before a domain is released after it expires...

The billing has expired, but that doesn't mean it drops instantly and can be registered the next day. Allow at least 45 days (plus a week-ish) for the domain to drop generally.

Sometimes, pass six months and you still can't register an expired domain.

I know Network Solutions doesn't let go the domain for a couple of months but this registrar (www.opensrs.org ) is new to me!
