What's the best free forum that doesn't use mysql. It can be php, cgi, asp, perl anything as long as it doesn't use mysql.

http://www.snitz.com , you can use it with access database, or ms sql, if you don't want mysql:)

Maybe my coming-soon site will help people recognize that YaBB sucks! I gave it an 80% in my rating. Ikonboard was the best at 94%, but there were more than 5 right up there in the 90-93 range.

Self-proclaimed expert, yes. :D But I'm tired of seeing the typical style boards, and I'm looking for "inspiration". There aren't too many unique layouts out there. I can pretty much name them all... :(

Perl: Ikonboard
PHP: phpBB2
YaBB: wouldn't recommend it, it's a resource hog.
