OK... im going to make it pretty simple....

Im looking for a company or personal sponser to place thier ad on my site....

Is this type of post classed as spamming here?

Not saying ths post is spamming i just know it would be classed as that at other webmaster boards and I am not totally sure of the rules at this place.

Because this a discussion forum not a self promotion forum.

I never said it was breaking any rules in my opion its spamming, But since I don't know the rules are around here I can't say its breaking any rules.

Thats why I asked if people where allowed to post topics like this, to give me a better understanding of the rules.

Maybe not but if every member posted here soliciting there advertisng offers then this forum would be useless filled with nothing but posts trying to get advertisers for there offer.
