Ok im wondering what happens if you register a domain name true a company and that company goes bankrupt? Do you lose your name?

no since all domains are controled by one government backed organization (i believe). But you will not loose your domain. It is owned by one group i know that.

Many registrars are just resellers of ICANN registrars so often you have the main registrar as a 'fail-safe' so to speak, plus all those registrars use one registry, so there's another possiblility of a fail-safe.
