G'day mate :)

The majority of reputable ad companies do indeed send cheques to Oz! I for one can vouch for that :D

As far as Australian companies go, you might wait for the Supermoo and Superczar to respond to that ;)

Radar working Czar?

Hey Dan,

It's always good to be war of scams, but there are companies out their that do pay. When they say then send cheques overseas, they typically do.

I have recieved payment from reputable American companies, and I imagine if you get the right advertiser for your website, send quality traffic their way, follow their terms and conditions you should see a cheque aswell. :)

Companies you may want to look into include (Alphabetical Order... hopefully ;) ):

Commission Junction (http://www.cj.com); which offer 'per sale' commissions.
Focalex (http://www.focalex.com); which offer money for email subscriptions.
Oversee (http://www.oversee.net); which offer several 'per click' affiliate programs and a pop-up program.
Standard Internet (http://www.standardinternet.com); which offer several 'per click' affiliate programs, a pop-up program and a 'per sale' cell-phone program.

There are also many others worth looking into.

I've recieved payments and cashed them. Please be warned the Commonwealth Bank likes to charge $7 per cheque and demand 30 days 'clearing' time. :(

MANY cheques!!!! And Westpac now charge $10 but it goes straight into your account, no waiting. But if you have more than one, it is still $10 for the lot ;)

I really want to change banks now!

I went in there a few weeks back and asked them why there was a $7 charge ( I like it how they search for excuses :p ), they informed me of their great trouble of packaging the cheque and sending it to the US, the cost of the envelope and the postage. Then when I showed them two more cheques for the same American bank, three in total, they demanded $21! This was because they were unable to put all the cheques in the one package and according to the teller, must send them individually! Argh!!!! *hits head against brick wall* ;)

Nope, just talking my time to type and having a few other windows open slows me down. :(

The only time I had to wait for a cheque to clear was when it went over $AUD1000 (those were the days :cry2: ) and it was from 2-4 weeks.

But on the remote chance I will ever get that amount again, the local branch knows me and it will be processed straight away.

I had a few mailbits cheques that went over the $AUD1000 :(

Geeze, that is an amazing amount... that's probaly all the profits I've made since I started, if not more, in one cheque! :)

I bet you don't wait for many minimums... ;)

Yes Dan, most of the reputable companies do require you to be 18 and some ask you to prove it.

But your parents can sign up and you can hope they give you the money ;)

(I am unsure of how this rule works, [as I am a *bit* over 18] so you might need to email companies or read the Terms of Service for confirmation) :classic2:
