may I ask what script you are using for redirecting?
How lond do you expect to run this service? Or let's say, how do you plan to support the ad free service.
Thanks.

I wrote the script myself and the hosting doesn't cost a fortune, so I'll be running it until enough people abuse it - like with wzr.net. Hopefully that will not happen... hopefully.

The problem is that just like with wzr.net spam and fraudulent use of the service can lead to its deletion.
I used to run the service with just r4f.com - but one person used this to imitate citibank and request account details. This lead to my host provider to cancel my account (for which I'd paid a year in advance) and deleted my database.
But the service is now back (albeit a few weeks later) - and I've learnt two things: to pay for hosting monthly and not to backup my database to the same server :o !

Hopefully that will not happen... hopefully. yeah, i wouldn't worry about the ad-free thing. when it comes to redirection, all that's transferred is enough html code to generate a frame [and when framed-cloaking is turned off, it's barely anything at all]. wzr.net was using about 5 gigs a month, so transfer isn't that big a problem... and actual hard diskspace costs jack.
the spam reports and abuse just got to be too big a hassle. maybe not enough to have to close wzr.net, but it was just so stupid and childish, and becoming more and more frequent.

I agree with Keith and !ben,
the SPAM and redirecting to sites with illegal stuff is the thing that cost money. Hosting the service take not to much resources, but having to tranfer the complete service with huge databases and alot of specialy written software to a new server because of some stupid users violating your condidtions is what cost alot of time and money.
And Keith, I'm sorry you have to close your service.
