heh ungrateful sob. ;) I suppose you should have made mentioned of the hard work you put into finding those links. While I personally would not have deleted that thread, i would not have known the effort you put into getting that info. Good, pertinent, informative info.
Oh well. I guess the thread was going in a direction that meow didnt like

Anyone that starts a thread can delete it. You should know that considering how many you have deleted GC. I have deleted 1. "Research"? Reeeally?

You know I posted several links, pictures, and information about nuclear weapons. And I was having a discussion on it, until you decided to delete it. So don´t give me this ---- now.

Exactly, we were discussing how nuclear weapons could prevent an asteroid from crashing into earth. I stated it nukes would be more than enough to do the job with some research on nuclear weapons... 475 kiloton bombs.
But no, Meow had to delete the thread. Right now meow you are on the lowest level of respect from me.

GC: Meow had as much right to delete that thread as you have to delete any threads you start. It's not like the world is going to come to an end (No pun intended). Yea.. you wrote a lot. Oh well big deal get over it. Meow has the right to do whatever he wants with the threads he starts. who cares that you have no respect for him? No one has respect for you? Big DEAL!! Get over it.. Geez.
Meow: You had the right to, maybe you shouldn't had since it had been getting big and a few people have replied to it. But whatever.. it was your choice.

I am not going to. Mainly because I don´t want to repost all of what I said. And secondly, never start a thread like that again that you know is going to be up for debate.
Giancarlo

Yes he has the right to delete a useless thread. But he does not have the right to delete one where that a few were debating. I was asked about nuclear weapons and explained myself.

Meow can delete any thread he wants to, granted he started them of course. Doesn't matter how many were involved or what was discussed, it's just three clicks away from obliteration. I don't like the idea though, I don't think the forum should allow you to delete posts, let alone threads. I'm even so-so on the ability to edit posts. But that doesn't change how things are now.
I didn't really read much of the thread, I left when someone (you maybe, I don't remember) brought up the missile defense system and I thought it best to just not get involved than launch into an argument on its false-sense-of-security-based-on-a-plan-that-while-theoretically-possible-would-never-work-in-real-life foolishness.

Based on the advancements of technology what do you know if it would be only theoretical? And you call my opinion foolish and false? Hmm.... great way of arguing.

Really Meow. What was the point of deleting that thread. You knew debate was taking place on that thread. Were you just tryign to be a jerk?
For once, I take the side of GC's anger. It wasn't a useless thread. Yeah, you have the "right" to delete a thread, but I have a "right" to start calling you names away from this message board, but that doesn't make it RIGHT.
IT was a real debate, and you just decided to go and delete it. REally. Explain to us your logic, or do you dislike GC that much?

I just thought that becuase every thread that I have seen you involved in also includes an argument of some sort. No one else seems to be on your side in these arguments. I'm not trying to make anyone look bad; this is just what I have noticed.
Maybe I should start a thread and ask to be given a history of this place.

LOOK AT THIS VIEW, FIRSTLY, GC.. NEXT TIME YOU WILL WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU HAVE RESEARCHED.
SECONDLY, MEOW.. IT MIGHT BE BETTER IF YOU WERE GOING TO SAY YOU WERE REMOVING THE THREAD BY SOME REASONS.. AND IF YOU CAN.. PLEASE SAY "SORRY"
OK.. THAT'S IT..
And personally, I don't like 'no forgiving' attitude... human has a chance to improve and develop and be good by learning and educating and etc... doing thing like that only make you look worse.
if you are going to keep that crack forever.. that's crack is what actually keep disturbing you. whenever you see 'Meow' name again.. you will only get upset.. forgiving bring happiness.. believe me.

Why did you delete you. You knew there was a discussion going on in that thread. Or are you going to dart my question again by giving more sarcastic comments.
While it wasn't a big dicussion, nevertheless, there was a discussion going on. It wasn't like it was it was a flaming thread or anything.
Not saying you are sorry is showing your lack of maturity. You did something to be a jerk, and when people call you on it, you say you had your right.
You are right, you don't ahve to say you are sorry. However, it is the right thing to do. Lack of maturity.

You were the one calling us kids. Not the other way around.
Name a time when someone deleted the thread and no one got angry. When that thread by syd was deleted, there were people who got annoyed by that. I said it was alright, because it was going to get close to a flaming thread if not deleted. Back when Giancarlo deleted his thread to save his butt, we all got on him.

SYD and GC gave their reason for deleting their threads. You haven't.
You know, it wouldn't be so bad if you would just admit to why you deleted the thread and wasn't so defensive about it. Aside from GC(who it is the norm for), no one got on you bad about this initially, and we asked why you deleted the thread. You have given us no rational reason, then you defend yourself, and say you aren't sorry. I haven't been asking for you to apologize, but just a reason for the deletion of the thread.

Now you can't delete threads anymore unless your post is the only post in that thread.
