In the Spaceports Forums (http://forum.spaceports.com) someone hated Spaceports and decided to create thier own ad free host! Well the URL was a -------- redirector redirecting to http://192.168.0.3/index.html, geez everone was going on about they couldn't get to that site and 192.168.x.x are reserved IPs! This person had only ever tried going to the site thru a Pc networked to the server. And the person said that the Server was running Windows 98! Windows 98 is a desktop operating system, not a mission critical web server OS, the person was probably using PWS (Personal Web Server). This post is at http://config.spaceports.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15886&perpage=15&pagenumber=2

Yup. This pc is 62.30.23x.xxx and 192.168.0.1

You cannot reach me by 192.168.0.1 but could by the other public address.

The problem with WIn98 servers is they tend to crash often....

Win98 isn't built for server purposes.

I didn't say that win98 is more efficient. I just said that works fine as server.
