what are your opinion on napster???
I mean...
yeah.. napster provides us way to get mp3 illegally...
at a tick of a button...
but, isn't this will ruin the music industry???

I don't think there's anything wrong with Napster. People still buy music and I think Napster probably helps the music industry. Also, public library distributes copyrighted books, so why don't they try to shut them down?

Libraries also distribute copyrighted music... Anything good I borrow the CD and rip... I just use Napster (or more often AudioGalaxy) when the CD is hard to find... I could give a crap if Napster shuts down...

Note however that it's been Napster's plan all along to get a big user base with the free service and then sell out to the music industry and turn commercial...

Intelligent really, how else are they meant to get money? I'd prefer them do that then my mailbox being filled with Junk e-mail! ;)
