Ok I need the following
A hosting for my website. Its not a .com. I need an independent host. This means that if I dont have a .com I would still be able to access the site. An example is mysite.payhost.com or something to that matter.
I need at least 50MB of space to host the site on. No less but more would be good.
Need PHP3+ support
And finally its got to be less than 5$ per month.
And dont tell me about any sites that arent in English. I dont care if a translator can translate every bit into perfect English. KEEP IT IN ENGLISH

Looks very intresting. Im making a list of servers that I may join and yours seems the most intresting. I would just like a little more information. Could you tell me about the sub domain access. I can only find info concerning the regular domain hosting. I already have a domain but its for another company and its a redirect domain. I need a subdomain with your site or something like that because I do not want another domain unless its free and your domains are 8.95 per year

Hi, I've just signed up with Perpetual Hosting. They've been great so far. They had a $25 a year special recently for 50 megs
http://www.perpetualhosting.net/special25.html
Just when I was going to sign up, they introduced a WHT forum member special for $35 for 100 megs so I took that up straight away! :)

I dont think they host subdomains.......do they?
I have a domain but its not fit for hosting. I need hosting on their server. Something like a subdomain or even an extension. I dont care what the address is I just want good hosting.

Looks intresting but I still have my eye on that first hosting package. This host charges over 6month periods. A lot of times that can scam you. They change their prices over the six month period without telling you. You end up with a 170$ charge on your card and you have to pay because you used the service all those 5 months even when the price was low. ITS HAPPENED BEFORE!!!!!

Now that I checked out the site I noticed they dont have PHP support. Nor cgi or mySql or any support for that matter. This host is definatly not for me.

Hi,
Try us at HostNexus.com (http://www.hostnexus.com/). We have all you need, can assign a subdomain with catch-all email, billed MONTHLY at $5.95 - no long term contract. Normally at that price we only give 25 megs but as we are new here, I will allocate 50 MB disk to anyone that contacts me through FWS.
All scripting support - CGI, PHP4/with ZEND, Python etc. 1 MySQL database, all round excellent 24/7 support including live chat and forums :D

Nexus, you cannot advertise your own host :-( --it's a good one, though--

Hi,
I read the rules and didn't think I was breaking them if somebody is asking for service. I was still unsure but when I saw the second post in this thread:

....I thought it was ok. If I am breaking the rules, mods, scorch the post....

I think the post was appropiate. I want people to post information about hosts whether its theirs or not. Besides NexDog has me intrested in that HostNexus company. Thier hosting packages look intresting and professional. My list now stands at
byzhosting.com
hostnexus.com
and another personal one

Un NexDog your hosting package looks good but im looking for 50mb under $5.00 a month. Your 50MB package is more. Ill still keep you on my list but i remember I may not use it. Then again it apears that NexDog has an outstanding support service. This decision is harder than I thought

How are you able to customize deals for customers. For some reason I dont feel that this is a good idea. I just met someone on a message board who I dont know and now that person is willing to customize stuff for me.I dont think Ill take your offer. And $450/mo I hope thats a mistake. lol

How am I able to customise plans? :)
Simple. I own the hosting company, I own the servers, I have ************GB of bandwidth at my disposable. When setting up an account, all a host does is input figures into the control panel.
Input the figures of our standard plan or of a plan that we negotiate with a client....it's the same thing! Being newbies here(:D), we just want to make a good impression, which is why I am offering customisable deals to you guys.
I would say that at least 20% of our sales come from special deals negotiated with clients over Chat, so it really is quite normal. Taking a chance with us isn't taking a chance at all, our service and support is rock solid. :)
Please get me or one of my guys (and ask for me) on the chat on our site and we will answer any questions you have. That's what it's there for!
Good luck in your search :)

Hi Everyone
I wanted to thank all of those who wanted to help with my search for a web server. Although it was a tough decision (which I didnt expect) I decided to go with byzhosting.com.
Their classic package included 75MB along with PHP cgi and everything else I need to run a pro website. Im now going to have to change my entire website because I can finally use my backround in PHP to make a website. Glad its only 3 pages
I cant wait to get my website going. It feels so good to have a website that is all mine. Its not owned by a friend or partner. And theres no advertisements to own my site either. Everything works fine.
My website was up and running in about 50 min.
Thanks again for all of your help.
