Since I have very little patience with setting up a board, I am looking for a free remotely hosted bulletin board. A banner or one pop-up (not both, either) would be fine for me. Donīt say ezboard please, I never seen so many ads in my life. And I am looking for a board that looks like this one, or similar.

Thank you for your help... this will be for my website. Right now I signed up with bravenet, but the bulletin board there is not suitable.

It's a YaBB board...

Take a look at my site (FreeBoards) and go to UpperBoardHosted, which I believe is #2. They're the best option around.

I see nothing wrong with it.

Thanks for the suggestions but I already signed up.

BTW, the countless pop-up ads are peeving me. I never knew they could put so many on just one message board. One pop-up per page plus banner ads. It's almost like ezBoard!

I don't know why, but I visited only two pages on your board, and I ended up with 4 pop-ups.

I went to the main page, got one pop-up there, and then proceeded to one of your "free stuff" forums. There, I got another pop-up. I decided to close both ad windows, giving me another pop-up window. Just a few seconds ago, I closed down the window that your board was in and I got another "exit" pop-up. So it may not be bad as ezBoard, but it's still enough to annoy me. :(

I only get one pop-under, which can be ignored without being closed and not one more ad will come up.
