Think of it, you redirect the domain name to a free web host and then the users see that your links link to a site called domain.somefwp.com/blah-blah instead to somedomain.com/blah-blah. Do you think users of some site/mini-portal/service site think of such a thing as unprofessional?

I believe there is some sort of HTML that can "hide" the URL from showing whenever someone rolls the mouse over the link.

But that's even more un-professional, and the FWP domain still shows while the page is loading :(

yeah there is a html code, but the fwp address still shows when the page is loading.
any solutions? or is domain hosting at the fwp the only solution?

We are back up and have always offered path redirection which is what you were looking for. I have a page at http://jwdx.com/domainhelp.php that should help you set it up. No ads appear on members' redirects and we have quite a few other features too.

There is currently a problem with that page. First time it wouldn't load, second time it loaded but still had the error information at the top of the page:

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/home/jw/www/domainhelp.php:2) in /home/jw/www/head.php on line 2

-along with three pop up ads. ANooying, so I didn't bother try it three times.
