hello:

I am just wondering if anyone can provide some technical info on Crosswinds' new server, RAID?

Is it a reliable and fast machine?

A RAID server is simply a server in which information is written on more than one drive at the same time. This way, if one HD fails, another will kick in without information being lost and the server going down. Most RAID servers are pretty good.
