Hi guys! Okay call me an idiot but a few months ago I signed up with the Geocities Webmaster Plan. I got a domain in the package www.uorealms.com Well, Since Geocities sucks... just like everything else yahoo I have decided to get a new host.. I am now signed up with phpwebhosting. I know ALOT of people here bash them and all, but I thought I would give them a shot and so far it's unbelivable and it's even faster than Geocities.. k the problem is that I registered my domain with Geocities. NO WHERE on there site does it say how to transfer the Domain. I know how to transfer domains via networksoulutions, but unfortunatly it's not with them... How in the worlld do I transfer my domain to my new host!?

Email your new host and ask them to send you the nameserver information. Ideally it should have been with your sign up info email.

Then Xena, contact Geocities about the problem.

<edit>I actually think if you get a domain name there, that it has to be hosted there :nervous:

Actually the webmaster package has a good bandwidth allotment, however, it is much lacking in features.
