I am hosting my site from my computer. My OS is XP. But I dont know how to get a cgi-bin, php support, MySQL and everything on there. Im not using any programs im just using a feature in XP that does it for me. Well I am using Dns2go for my domain. Someone please help me with my problem. Thank you.

www.php.net www.mysql.com www.apache.org also, offering Paid Hosting from your computer is as illegal as they come.

+Edit = I have XP Home, what is this feature?

I am not familiar with hosting site with xp os but I guess you will have to download the software into your computer before you can support php and mySQL.

Thats what I am thinking as well. The feature is "Internet Information Services (IIS)" If you want to install it I will just tell you now.

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > Add Windows Components > Select the "Internet Information Services" tab... Then you will need the cd to do it...

Anyways... I tried to get it from php.com and everything but its confusing to me and I cant figure out how to install it... So if someone can help me I would be highly appreciated. Thanks

:D , why xp ? at least get win 2k adv server if you want to be windows based.
