Anyone had any experience with their popunder program?
I just signed up with them.

Greetings,
Yes, I've been using goClick for some time now. While their pay rate is initially $2.50 CPM, it will certainly be lowered with goClick citing "low" CTRs. We are currently sending them a CTR averaging 1%+, and that is considered low enough to chop the rate in half.
Still, so far they are reputable and reliable.
Their payment system leaves much to be desired, however. If you're an international affiliate, you will need to use the Paypal payment option. You will then need to request a payment when you want your monies transferred to you. This will then take about 1-2 weeks to authorize, then whatever amount of time Paypal takes to transfer funds to your bank account. The very, very unfortunate issue abou this--and a major reason I will be leaving goClick, unless we can work something out with them--is that payments will come later and later, as the goClick authorization time is pegged unto the amount of time you must wait _again_ to request your next payment. We are currently a month behind due to this "feature".
Having said all that, goClick is still one of the few advertisers I would still recommend.
Farewell,
Lawrence

Our company has been working with Goclick for the last couple of months.
We have not experienced any problems and are very happy with the relationship.

Greetings,
Lawrence: Have you experienced the phenomenon I was speaking of? Payments coming later and later each month? It would appear to me goClick's support is ignoring this issue, doesn't think it's actually there, or thinks I'm making it up.

Matt,
Have you tried emailing them directly?

Matt,
We have never been a month behind with Goclick.
Perhaps authorization times take longer for international & paypal affiliates?

Greetings,
That's what I imagine. Are you under the payment-by-cheque system? Is this on a 30day schedule or when you request a payment?
I wish they put a definite schedule in. I simply can't use them much longer when the payments come later and later each time.

We are paid by check.
You will then need to request a payment when you want your monies transferred to you. This will then take about 1-2 weeks to authorize, then whatever amount of time Paypal takes to transfer funds to your bank account.
We are currently a month behind due to this "feature".
Wouldn't this mean that you are 2 weeks behind due to the "feature" and another 2 weeks due to Paypal?
Please email me for all other questions.

Greetings,
Sorry, no, I meant that over time this has come to be. We started with goClick many, many months ago. Probably August, 2001. And the date at which we can request payment has slowly crept forward.
You're paid by cheque? Is this on a schedule, or do you need to request funds, like the Paypal route?

$2.50 CPM is too much, I'm happy for my $1.00 CPM with fastclick.

I have had several people move onto our Snooply program because they have said that GoClick reduced their payout to $0.00 and left their popups payout at $0.25!

Greetings,
KP: Sorry? I didn't quite understand that? Payouts reduced to $0.00 and Popups at $0.25?
Naturally, they require a suitable CTR to maintain a decent CPM for their popups(and that requires a lot of work to keep maintained at a good level).
I have just received an email, however, from a goClick admin dealing with our situation with them(concerning payout rate and and payment schedule for international/paypal affiliates). The revelation appears to be that "the affilate program in general is a hassle for us." This lowers my confidence significantly. Furthermore, they appear not to advertise to generate traffic, but rather to "generate" advertisers. Somehow or another(which I can't fathom at this point), they track searches from my affiliate account and can tell if they become an advertiser. Which might work, perhaps, all in one session or with cookies, but there's many holes here I wouldn't put my trust in. They claim this is the reason for lowered pay rates, for my account, at least.
It is unfortunate, but I guess it was inevitable, as this is, indeed, an affiliat program and not true advertising.

Farewell,
I'm not too sure. A lot of people have came to us because they reduced their payments, and what you decribed is probably why they have decreased the payments.
Search Pay Rate: $0.00 from $0.02
Popup Pay Rate: $0.25 from $0.25
That's all I know about goClick.com

KP and Matt: Ad companies are not allowed to talk bad about other ad companies here for obvious reasons.

Peo,
I apologize. But this is reality! I have experienced the change in reduced payments. No harm or bashing meant by it.

Kaumil,
No offense is intended but please re-read Peo's post. It would be appreciated if you refrained from comments towards other ad companies when representing yourself as a CEO of a competing company. I honestly don't think it's appropriate.
Other than that it's good to see you here, and I hope you enjoy your stay. :)
Best of luck,
