Hi Everybody!
I want to run Forum... I have checked severals.. Ikonboard, Yabb, php, etc.. But I have find that XMB rocks in showcase.. for example this board : http://luisrebelo.net/bored/ (NOT MY BOARD)
I have yet no seen another board that compares and it free also..
But I wonder do I need Mysql to run it??
Im a bit of a newbie when it comes to handle servers...
Beside this features wich other items do i need beside Mysql..

Hi. :)

You also need to be able to use PHP in order to run XMB.

And! He really mean it!! You got to understand at least basic PHP, because i've some experince when i got to alter the code myselft (my bad day, just after i finish struggle solving the problem they release the patch for that error - haha)

anyway, i use Burning Board.

My goodness, those flash banner like things get old *really* quick. If you could only disable that... :confused2

The forum seems to be quite dull and plain except for that flash banner.

ikonboard is great, you dont need mysql to use it.

You can mod any forum to kick ---. I didn't really like that example forum, its too fadish on the color.

When phpBB 2.0 is released, it will be the best.

IMHO, I think wbb and phpbb2 are the best, and wrong forum btw.

Disaster as in a pathetic layout. They are ripping straight off of Ikonboard's latest release.
