Transferring mysql database

Okay, so I've posted this on three different forums now... but I need an answer asap. :)

Can someone tell me how to transfer a mysql database from one host to another?

I have phpmyadmin installed on both; if that's any help to me? I tried doing a database dump or something or other like I read on some site... but it wont work.

So if someone could give me some sort of step by step instruction on getting it off the one host, and putting it on the other

thta's very easy to do it, first save the database, and then upload it to the new host. phpmyadmin give you the option to save the database, and then upload it to the other host. i hope this work.

I have phpmyadmin open now, but can't figure out how to save it?

Can anyone else help me?

I finally managed it to start downloading the file, but after about half an hour, it came up with the following message:

Internet explorer cannot download tbl_dump.php3 from toefur.com

Internet explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.
