If were not allowed to delete threads, then we shouldn't have that ability. You should change it.

I don't see why we shouldn't have the ability to delete our own posts. The only reason we can't delete the threads we start is because we are deleting other people's post as well.

why doesn't Peo make it so that they can only delete your own threads and your own posts than. He has the power right? Does He own all these forums, is he the only one who can update this website?

We used to be able to delete our own threads. Even if you delete your own thread though, you are still deleting all the posts in it which are from other people.

he problem there is we'd get some idiot that would start threads and delete them all the time. Sounds crazy, but you KNOW it would happen.

I voted "no", because the starter of the thread should not have the right to delete everyone else´s replies in the particular thread. But I think if there is a double post of a thread, and there are no replies in one of them, the poster should have the right to delete that thread.

That's a good insite, I would have to agree with that one Giancarlo. Then maybe you should get the ability to delete as long as there is less then a certain number that we could all agree on. But still, if were not allowed to delete, than the Option shouldn't be there.
