Hello, i just finished my site and i would like to invite all of you to take a look at it http://www.ratepic.com

It is a picture posting and voting site.

Any advice, comments or dislikes would be greatly appreciated.

Also members can post their pics up to have them voted on. and have a chance to win an Xbox Game System or $200.00

Please try with the www. in front

I clicked on your link which has the www in it.

oh I just looked at the location, and it took me to http://www.ratepic.com/other/java.js - that's where the problem lies :eek:

It looks nice, try to make the font smaller (Size 8/9)

Hey,

Nice, but I'm obsessed with 800x600 compliance. Yours gives me the hated scroll bar.

Jan, where you able to get to the site? I cant figure out what is wrong.

Also has anyone signed up and submitted a pic? Just wanted to know if it was easy to do and understandable?

Jan, where you able to get to the site? I cant figure out what is wrong.Jan is using Netscape 4.something, which is very strict when it comes to rendering pages. On your site you have this line:

<script language="javascript" src="http://www.ratepic.com/other/java.js"></script>

There is nothing at http://www.ratepic.com/other/java.js, it's a 404 error. Because of this, Netscape 4.x will not render the page and that's why Jan can't see it. Either remove that line or upload whatever java.js is.

Ok, I think i fixed that problem, but dont have netscape 4.0 to test.

Can someone test are post a reply if they are able to see the site.

Sorry, I saw this at 7am one morning and thought I would get back to it when I woke up a bit. Then I forgot :o

I didn't actually get to see the site but I knew that you had fixed the original error.

I just made another attempt, but when it starts loading doubleclick it freezes every time. So three tries and three screen freezes :(
