the buttons (user cp/register/calendar etc.) should have some convexity effect - yours are flat.

in photoshop you can do this effect by "Bevel and Embosss" option. Search for something similar in your program.

the thext is hard to read (too much blur) but you should always test a button on the site. only then will you see if it fit to your design.
