You can say ---, but you can't say -------...it's all in the context, right?

Is there a viewable list of the non allowed words?

A list of censored words... now that would be ironic.

<They may not be in the language filter but moderators with eyes will always censor such words when used improperly>

it seems like there are only 3 words filtered...unless there are racist terms and stuff blocked...DON'T ANYBODY TYPE ANY TO FIND OUT!!! That's not one of those things where you have to do something because someone said not to either.

I think Is0lized has already made a pretty good list at http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=19855, going so far as to include such wonderful terms as "belly whacker".
No one has yet to complete my challenge. :D
...moderators with eyes...There're blind moderators here? Which ones? :D I can't say as I've been looking for it, but the only thread I've seen edited and closed for an uncensored word was the recent thread on wBB... and while I'm on it, I really do resent Webdude for closing it because the thread did have a serious topic, it wasn't just "Look at me! I can say (whatever)!"
I don't see the point of censoring. They're just words. It's the person saying them and the context in which they're said that's offensive, not the words themselves.

Sorry Dusty, there is no need for cussing as you Americans say. These are public forums and those that use their *special* code to overwrite the censored words should be at least warned by admin and the 'soccer rules' applied for repeat offences. :devious2:

do u think it's very hard for vbulletin (or any other team) to make a little of affort on their word filter to prevent this
i don't think so...
if u put some bbcode in the middle of word, it gets rid of word filter
btw, the role of mods is very important in such a case
