Just upgraded my site http://www.itfconline.net to a slightly new design, changes I have made are

1) Navigation for Netscape & Opera
2) More Graphics Instead of White Text

Things I want to know about are basically

1) Do the graphics look good or tacky?
2) Is the ammount of advertising too much or just right?
3) Any Problems you see within the design?

Cheers for the feedback

Justin

It looks alright. I don't really care for colored scroll bars, but that is okay. Well for one, your logo needs to be transparent, so the background will show through, instead of just a white box around it. Also, at the bottom in your copyrights, replace the (c) with a © symbol. You have a nice navigation system at the top, but lose the counter. They look tacky, maybe you could use an invisible one instead. I found a few images that were broken also, so you may want to fix them, or host them along with your own images, instead of linking them, and using somebody else's bandwidth. You have a very decent start going, keep up the good work. :)

1) The graphics suit the page
2) The Ads blend in with the page, so they are barely noticeable
3) Design is just fine and no visible typos :)

I really don't like the colors. They are too bright and not easy on the eyes. The font is a little too bland. I didn't really see many graphics to judge...

Overall, needs a lot of improvement.

its not much, but may look better

I think, you should not close every box on your page with borders - the page looks then like collection of some modules. Think about hiding left and right borders in for example left column boxes (Last Premier Match, Next.. etc.) It should looks better.

And the colors are not too bright for me, but you can add a third color - hue of red or blue. Can be also good.
