Excite e-mail!

I tried to go into my Excite mail but it said that Excite waqs under new management and that I would have to re-enter my personal details and all of my messages have been lost! nooooo! Thats where my Free ProHosting account was!

When did you last log in to excite? They have been saying for weeks before Christmas that you need to confirm that you want your registration carried over to the new service. If you didn't confirm then you have lost your account. There were problems for a couple of weeks over Christmas, but it seems fine now. If you made a note of your prohosting login and password, it shouldn't matter where you registered from you can still log in. If you've forgotten you may have a problem. Perhaps somebody else knows if prohosting will let you change your login?

Come to think of it, if you've got a back up of your site on your hard drive, you could just sign up for new prohosting account and reload your site. Just a thought!
