it is there and signup is fast.
But there is no TOS and you cannot create subdirs.
I hope they get a TOS soon or else they might not last long as they cannot refuse users violating their tos as there is none.

heehee - They have all the space they want but a bandwidth limit of 10gb.
Another fasthosts reseller.

JPEG images on the site (they look goofy on my 19"/32bit monitor)...premade signup script... I give it three weeks, at best.

10gb bandwidth for a fwp? ... Cracker - what you smoking?

Exactly, if they were to get 100 users that would give each user 100mb/month.. Hardly much.
I agree - 10gb/mo is quite sufficient for most single websites, but for a FWP!!??

Ask netcabins or datablocks how much bandwidth they use. I'm sure they will tell u its more than 10gb.

That's a ridiculously small amount of bandwidth... so when (if) they get 1,000 members.... that's 10MB/month per user!!
Yeah right... Cracker, are you sure there's a 10gb limit for the entire fwp???

We use about 90 gigs per month of transfer, with under 2000 active members. These guys won't last long.

Lucky you to use only 90 gigs. We finally got ours down to around 400 gigs average.

the LEAST amount of bandwidth that a starting fwp SHOULD be getting is approximately 75 GB a month

Well, you took the risk when you decided to start an FWP. You're probably getting enough click throughs from your members' sites to cover the cost anyway, though.

So come on then? why say 10gb was enough?

I talked with the owner, he said he uses the amount of bandwidth he needs, right now he doesn't need that much.

Daniel, it's not about what he uses, but what the members use. If he is limited to 10gb/mo then if loads of people start using e-off.co.uk (because it is quite fast) then fairly soon this could outgrow the 10gb/month bandwidth allowance.

also when you exceed the bandwidth limit on fasthosts accounts you get susupended and all your files are deleted, so your site on e-off could go any time.

They are being slightly more leaniant now with accounts ... the big resellers have been pushing 80gbs and fasthosts encourage it.

I think I'm lucky.. over 10,000 accounts and I do about 120 gigs/month. :)
its a constant battle keeeping the usage down.. nearly everyday I get some warez or porno guy who sucks up a gig or 2 of traffic while i'm sleeping.. eheh

Even 400 gigs isn't that much bandwidth.... especially if your getting a good deal on transfer.
