Hi,
I was wondering if you could help me?
I'm just wondering, does anyone know of a host that has big amounts of webspace (like 500MB) and does not have any file size limits?
I've found a few but then when I read the small print, it says file size..
I'm not too fussed about cost, although if under £100 for a year (if thats possible)
Thanx a lot!

Most companies don't have filesize limits (paid hosts). As for wolfknight their was a thread in webhosting offers a couple months back about the cox connection.
<<MOD NOTE: Some posts removed as none of them related to the thread>>

I don't think Paid ProHosting (http://www.prohosting.com) has any file size limits!

Anywho, Myacen has two plans that may suit you:
Corporate (500MB - US$99.95) or the Ecommerce (1000MB - US$149.95).
http://www.myacen.com/virtualhosting.html for more info.
This is on the assumption that £1 = AU$3 = US$1.5
So US$150 is your budget. :D

HI,
thanx you lot for the info.
Man, its hard trying to find the right one!
All I want is a webhost that will let me upload my files so I can build my site, I dont want any fancy frills or anything, just some webspace, because at the moment I only have 15MB which came with my ISP.
Just out of interest what do people prefer to pay by monthly or annually?

infodoma.com offers 500mb space, 15gb of bandwidth, php, cgi, domains, subdomains, email(web and pop3), and more on a linux server for only $24.95. if you need more space or bandwidth, they do custom plans too. they're tech support is great. they are hosting my web page. very nice service :)

Yes, they do, but you can also ask them at their forums if you want, just to be more sure. or you can email them. btw, what band is it? http://forums.infodoma.com/

I use codewhiz to make my web pages. it's kinda like notepad, but it color codes the html tags and stuff. if you're good with html, I would use that program, and do it in php. you could make a very nice web page like that. but if not, netobjects is good for making web pages.
