Hello, are you trying to mirror a big file using perl script?
you can try free.prohosting.com.

Correct me if I am wrong, free.prohosting.com doesn't have any file size limit, they give you 50 megs.
But if you are going to mirror a file from a server to prohosting using perl script, make sure prohosting has the modules.

You can use Perl to join several files together to make one file, but you'll have to find software that splits but does not compress the files.

well, yeah..
i doubt host.sk or crosswinds.net hv any hard and fast rules on file sizes...
but just don't make it so big it stands out TOO much from the rest of the stuff on their servers

The "no file size limit" thingie is also why Host.sk and Crosswinds are so slow. Plus, on Crosswinds, although file sizes aren't limited in terms of number of Kb, if you're uploading multimedia files, they're limited in terms of duration (45 seconds) if you're a free member, and free members can't upload program files to CW either. Also, no .zip's if they contain these types of files.

crosswinds will delete your files if they are "too big" , however, I'm not excalty sure what is "too big."
