Well some people like debating about polictics and other things. And just like to argue.

So I suggest a Debate Forum.

My old site had one and it was pretty exciting. Mods would post an intresting topic every week and have a good arguement. Could also be pretty fun.

I agree with you Hayama-kun. There seems to be enough of that already in a few forums. One just has to look at how the 'debates' turned to personal insults in a few recent General Discussions threads. :rolleyes:

I don't know Red Guy...there couldn't be too many people using that forum...however, people worship me (right meow?) :p, so it just makes sense...

This is where I get banned, or flamed or something bad...

I actually think it's an interesting idea and I would fully support it if people could keep the debates civil. I have strong doubts that it could happen but I think it would be interesting to see the issues people propose for the debate of the week. I think we would see a lot more international issues then you would normally see on Fox News / CNN / etc.

If only members could debate civilly and put us moderators out of jobs.. One can dream. :D

I disagree about establishing this new forum... it would only increase partisanship and tensions here on the forums. My beliefs are radically different than most and it would get pretty ugly.

We wouldn't have so many annoying discussions about presidents and politics, which I honestly don't care much for. (All the leaders are corrupt anyway, lol :D) I think many people are getting sick of all the topics on the General Discussions forum turning into pointless political debates. So I'll have to agree with GC here and say "no" to this idea.

However, a "Tribute to Aimoo" forum might be nice. :)

I agree..I guess once a forum gets too big, it ain't civilised anymore :(

If only I still had my old site, that was the old days :(
