I'm starting to dislike it... every year, for 16 consecutive years, I had to sit through the day alone by myself...
I sorta liked it when I was in elementary, cause everybody was giving out candies and cards, but now people only give out chocolates to their other half. Hmph!
Valentine's... bah humbug!!

My favorite line: "Hey sweet thang, can I buy you a fish sandwich?"
I've always liked "I love every bone in your body...especially mine"
"Why don't you sit on my lap and we'll talk about whatever pops up" is a close second...

I've always liked, "Let's shag!"
Maybe its a little too direct.

She: Your face must turn a few stomachs.
He: How do you like your eggs in the morning?
She: Unfertilised!

Valentine's Day is a load of commercialised rubbish, fabricated to sell overpriced Hallmark cards and goofy looking stuffed toys.

Well the guy I like, he likes me too, so I can't technically say I don't have one.
But, um, it's just rubbish? The kind of love that Hallmark goes on about doesn't exist...
I used to believe it did, but pfft...

Well, we all need special days to celebrate special things...
Just buy him chocolates, he'll go wild. No need to get Hallmark, it's just a piece of paper with computer generated images smeared all over it.

I remember once this year, a really hot female teacher came into our business class just for subbing another teacher who's sick, and hell.......all the guys in our class were like.."Miss Pak, do you have a boyfriend?""Miss Pak, will you be willing to date someone younger than you?""Miss Pak, You are the hottest teacher I've ever seen!""Miss Pak, will you go out with me"..etc etc etc..
Hell......she was so embrassed..

Our guidance counselor is really hot. She is like twenty three. Up until two weeks ago when everyone found out she was getting married there were always like at least three guys in her office, skipping class just to be in there. Oh, and the Spanish I teacher is hot too, not to mention her daughter is also hot. She set my best friend up with her daughter, that didn't work out :p.

Damnit, it's always the dumb (and good-looking) girls that are the only ones free tomorrow...so I usually find myself studying with the smart ones. :)

I'm talking about my school only. ;)
We've got basically two divisions between students, those that care about their social life and not about academics...and those that are stuck in the books because they desperately need a high average. It's a fine line, there's hardly anyone in between.

I've found out there are more important things in life than school and grades and I don't worry about it anymore. I'm still young and don't want to waste all my good years with my head in a book studying. My perspective has just changed drastically over the last year or so. Friends are much more important than anything you'll gain by having a high GPA.

Thats true, Phrozen, though the importance of your education depends on the future you are persuing. The 76%-84% range is certainly respectable.

Actually, in striving for a high GPA, one picks up quite a lot of friends...it's quite sad how that works out in my case. :p

Amen brother.
I get sick of hearing school kids i know whining about how much homework and stuff they have. They don't understand when I just tell them not to do it... :biggrin2:
Seriously though... I survived all of high school doing hardly any work at all... Did maybe 20 minutes homework a week, maybe a bit more when I had crushing essays to do... but, school is easy... nothing to waste time over.
