Thread moved as it relates to software and not services from that regard.

We don't allow you to cheat free hosting service by telling people how to remove ads from your page, however I think this is different. Since the days of @Guard and probably before then people have been able to stop ads if they wished and although the advertising market feared such software at first I think they now realize it's better not waste an ad exposure on someone who definitely wouldn't have clicked on the ad.

That's just my view and not FreeWebspace.net's so we'll wait to see if Peo comments on it but I'm pretty sure such discussion would be allowed.

best one i used is SurfPal

it also has thinsg to clear your cache, cookies, bin, ect

it allows you to keep cookies from domains (like i have it set to FWS so i keep my username and such) and it allows you to accept popups from certin sites also

its not free but its good, heres a SS of it

I use Popup-Stopper from Panicware.
It stops popups by closing the window once it sense a popup, not by modifying the HTML, so there's less CPU usage and you can be sure that ALL popups will be closed.

You can allow the window to pop up by pressing Ctrl or Shift.

http://www.webwasher.com

It filters out pop ups and also banner ads, and even text ads if for some reason you want it to. It's customizable, you can set it to never filter an image or window from within the same domain if you want, various things like that. Also gets rid of those annoying "you're not allowed to right-click" messages on some sites, and lets you prevent sites from putting their own text in the status bar.
