is there a forum that would run great on this:
4gb/monthly bandwidth
40mb space...
cgi/php.... only 5mb of mysql...
so i'm leaning more toward a cgi forum...
is 40mb enough to make a successful forum?
will the forum use up 4gb quickly? or is that more than enough?
i'm currently considering ikonboard 3 or yaBB....

go php
cgi takes up cpu resources (more) to run plus you need to chmod everything
you looking free or paid?

I would take a guess at free as seen as it is in the free services forum, but I may be wrong

With phpBB 2, 6-7000 posts will take an average of 5 mb.

IBForums.com maybe? Something like Ikonboard, only it's in PHP and better.

Hmm...well, that also depends on the quality of the posts. If each post is a page long when printed out, then surely 6000-7000 posts would take up greater space than 5 MB.

It's going to be in PHP/MySQL not CGI, but they would also release a CGI version of it.
