i have searched high and low.i cannot find free a web host that will let me upload files on there server and link them to my site (even with popups and or banner ads)does anyone know of a place please let me know tkx..

If they're legal files, you might want to host the actual download page ON Tripod. That way you have a site there and you're not only "storing files" ;).

tripod doesnt allow it ,they deleted my site, well the sites still there but all the files are deleted.

I can't understand why if they are legal.

I'm sure they don't have time to check each case out. it is easier to set a cron job to delete all .zip, .exe, .mp3, etc.

Yes, but a host is a bit lame to delete .zip files.
