Well, they are free, which means that the programmers don't get paid much, if any at all.

Ikonboard is llike dead also. Matt left.. Not sure if the other people will do anything to it (Updates, etc)

As far as free boards.. I think PHPBB2 is still the best :confused2

Yeah, I also like phpBB2, I think it looks better anyways. OpenBB is good too.
