Almost everytime I put an Iframe in my websites, I get "Done, but with errors on it" warnings on the bottom of my status bar. I HATE THAT. It looks very bad, but I don't know how to get rid of it. Please can someone help me with this problem??
My email is mandylicious_004@hotmail.com / that's my MSN messenger contact too...
Thanks in advance :classic2:

I pretty much think its just you since I get no errors.
While visiting your site I came up with a couple of recommendations though - do with them what you wish:
I recommend not using iframes with geocities however, since the multiple ads gets quite annoying.
Iframes within Iframes... use a table for the main page and only one iframe inside.
If you using 8m.net for a shorter URL, there are other ones out there with (much) less ads. The FreeServices section of this forum is great for that.
Regarding your tables problem - I have no clue. :classic2:

I get a load of scripting errors but I don't see that you use any scripts. Blame geo and their super icky ad codes.
Move! :p

<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
function stopError() {
return true;
}
window.onerror = stopError;
//-->
</script>
use this and it wont show an errors even if there are some...

Iframes rule, so dont listen to Keith :D, but those u have look ugly because u have their frameborder set to one. Make the frameborder=0 and the ugly borders will disappear.

If they are used properly, then I find them bearable.

its a 404, but anyway yeah, if they are used properly they look good, but u have to know how to use them. Thusly I think that Phrozens hatered to frame is because he never learned to use them correctly(I'm kidding so dont go flamming all over the place)
:p :D

And for advanced users...to make it look integrated and beautiful takes one hell of a designer. :biggrin2:

I like to think my skills have improved a bit since those days though.

hayama, I don't see in what way the use of frames is horrible at that site. Seems like the basic concept to me. :confused:
Or did you think the frames made the sound? :D

Oh? So with that menu that's longer than most screens you prefer no scrollbar? That would be lousy use of frames.
To make a page unusable is a big no-no. Besides, that site demonstrates the purpose they invented frames for - to keep one part of the page in view while scrolling another part.
No mistake - frames are bad for you but not because of the scrollbars. :p

No, if the menu is thst long then you shouldn't use frames. Scrollbars in the middle of a page just look bad.

So, use them only when they have no function?

A frame without a scrollbar isn't functionless. It's my feeling that, if you must use frames, only the content frame should scroll. The main menu (i.e. the short menu the just links to the main sections of the site, not a whole site map) and the header frames should be stationary. Of course, there are times when you have to go against this rule, but I think this is the way it works best.
