I'm looking for a free service like smoothftp.com, an ftp service where I can download my site (59mbs) in a short peroid of time so that I can upload it to my new server, because my host is moving my account and they've given me 24 hours to move the entire site. The problem with smooth ftp is that it deletes the files after it downloads, which wouldn't be a problem if it downloaded them completely.

Anyone know of anything like that? Thanks in advance :)

WS_FTP is what I have used over a couple of years. It won't delete your files once you download. (Believe me I have downloaded and uploaded my site a few times in that period of time)

You should ALWAYS keep a full backup of your site on your hard drive, because you can't really trust other computers to hold your site for you - computers crash.

Gee PsychoPath, thanks so much for making fun of me when I needed help.

Thanks to everyone else, btw I know what ftp is, the problem is I don't have access at the moment, I have to do everything browser-based because the computer I have access to is a public terminal.

& I had my files all backed up until a virus wiped my hard drive and I just haven't gotten around to re-downloading yet.
