Something interesting about .tk...

I had a free domain through them and decided to buy it. I went through the whole process, entered the nameservers, and when I was done, I tried the domain and it already went to the new site. Apparently DNS changes happen instantly with .tk's registry. I wonder why no other registries are that advanced.

who knows but registering just the domain its self should take a few weeks or just a week but it only takes about 5 to 10 minutes

other system does do it instantly too

it just takes time for all the systems throughout the internet to update w/ new information

if u buying a generic domain soon, u could try a test and c what i'm talking about
using something such as nslookup:
check constantly if u could see it and have another friend do the same thing
chances are that one of u will see it way before the other one does

also when u buy a generic domain name
u only could see ur name on ur registrar's whois
and not anywhere else for hours or days later
