and what is the problem with him announcing? Least some members will know about it, instead of saying "d3ads is giving 6 cents a click" we will all know now, not just the publishers...

there is nothing wrong with them announcing it, I just meant its bad to announce bad news about yourself, we would have found out anyway.
apache12345 why do you have to retroactively reduce payments, this is almost theft, and I think its requires an explanation.

And for those just tuning in...
Taken from dictionary.com: (http://www.dictionary.com/cgi-bin/dict.pl?term=retroactively&r=67)
ret·ro·ac·tive (rtr-ktv)
adj.
Influencing or applying to a period prior to enactment: a retroactive pay increase.

4 cents is not bad, I commence you on having the honesty to announce it, just change it on your website now.

yer 4 cents may nto be bad, I just feel sorry for any one that got burned by them, I am guessing it has not affected many people because I ain't seen no complaints any where yet, But I know I would be annoyed usingt hem building up my commission at oen rate only to find a few months down the line they reduce the amount I am owed, imagine if you went to work for a whole month and were paid $3 an hour only to find at the end of the month they decided to only pay you $2 an hour, people would not stand for it at there job so they should nto stand for ad companies doing it to them.
I personally don't care as I never used these and never would have, I just feel sorry for any webmaster this affects.

hard to complain with advertising companies doing so poorly at the moment
and the fact there are a lot of companies with clicks below 4 cents....dkads and allclicks are 2 advertisers I have worked with. Both are professional, but 4 cents is still much higher than 2 :-)
<edit>sorry, i meant dkads is 2, allclicks is 3, thanks archbob</edit>

"hard to complain with advertising companies doing so poorly at the moment"
no excuse to retroactivly reduce payments though.

The IP's on the apache12345 account and d3 ads account doesn't match. Either it's someone trying to impersonate Jeff, Jeff opened a second ago (which shouldn't be done), or another unexplained situation. Regardless, if it's one of the first two issues it warrants an account removal and I have such removed the apache12345 account.
If this is a mistake on my part please email or PM me and explain and I'll gladly correct my mistake. In the mean time I suggest you contact D3 Advertising directly to verify the authenticity of that message. Like I said, this could be a mistake but to be on the safe side I wanted to post about it.
