I have been surfing thru the free webspace forum on here and have seen that quiet a few new hosts posted something. But I think its really sad that some people have to post stupid remarks on them. Like they are gonna close in a few days or they are scam or some other bull----. Questioning and criticizing everything they do. Seems like some people just post something so they can say they posted something too. They are a new host so why dont you give them a chance. How can you know if they are gonna close? How can you know if they are scam? If you think everything is based on Skaggy then im really sorry for you.
And by the way no host said you had to sign up with them. So if you have a problem with them or you dont trust them or whatever your reason is then why dont you just stay away. To be truthful if i was opening a host and would get replies like some do id think it over because id would piss me off.

OK, you are partially right. We probably shouldn't be criticizing hosts. However, we are really trying to help them survive. By saying things like, forums will overload your server and force your host to collapse, we are helping the free host realize that he CANNOT allow message boards on his server. If you look at it one way, we are trying to help these guys improve, if they really don't know what they're doing.

I agree with you, but it makes for good post counts for the offenders :confused2

If I was to start a hosting service there is no way I would advertise it here! :nervous:

Well said, but I wonder for one thing. Why all this criticism comes from people new in here?.... just a note..... Things aren't that dramatic and many free hosts deserve all the comments they get.

It's best to point out all these things when a host is introduced instead of sugarcoating them all. Chances are when a new host comes out that offers 20+mb of space, perl, php, FTP, etc, for free, a lot of the time without ads, of course it won't survive, and it's best to let people know.
