I would like to start an Mailing List for my website. I don't wish to use the ML for discussions with other people (that's what my messageboard is for), it's just for me to send out updates to my subscribers. Can anyone suggest services that provide:
- Reliable service (of course)
- Allow only me to send out emails
Thanks for any help, ^^

If you have access to PHP there's one at http://php.warpedweb.net/ that's very easy to set up and run. I'm using in one one site now and so far it's great. You only need PHP - no database.

When you start your list, opt to NOT be in their ad & promo network.
If you're not on the ad network, the only thing that is put in messages is a brief message at the bottom of each post with unsubscribe instructions. (This should be a mandatory standard on all lists anyway.)

Yeah Microsoft is turning Listbot into a paid service. I received an email notice.
