You have to nullify your HTTP_REFERER, so open a new browser window and view that page...it won't give you a 404.

how much money open source movement gave microsoft to put such an ugly text file on its server
and microsoft only likes money...

The "open source movement"? I knew of open source, but a physical massed entity with money on the level capable to bribe Microsoft with, that's news to me.

A trademark of Windows servers are a lack of security, I wonder if this is another lapse. I doubt people would bribe Microsoft to place a file like that on the webserver. Besides, it only takes a script kiddie to find a file like that.

This is just a content PROP test. This is used to test if all the content is propped to all the live servers. When you have a large server farm like www.microsoft.com, you need a way to test if the same content has reached all of the servers.
This is only a test.

That's sounds wasteful, having the same content sent out over and over again, but of course, expect stupidity when you've got tons of money.
