Search Problem??Gonzo January 21st, 2001, 19:06 when you go to the advanced search and click on "Allow you to host paid banner ads" it always retruns no results Nick January 22nd, 2001, 17:55 Not true because I know for a fact that Tripod allows them. I bet you're putting php/ssi/cgi into the search. None of the hosts that offer that allow paid banner ads :(. Gonzo January 27th, 2001, 08:28 Nope I don't put on anything else. LeX January 27th, 2001, 08:34 Know what, Nick? It's true. http://www.freewebspace.net/cgi-bin/db2/db.cgi?sb=1&so=ascend&view_records=1&Language=English&Location=---&Space=%3E0.0&Adtype=---&AdsAllowed=AdsAllowed&Title=&mh=10 Nick January 27th, 2001, 12:19 Taken From Tripod DB Entry Tripod USA, English http://tripod.lycos.com/ Space 50 MB Upload FTP Browser FP Editor Adv Ads Popup Webaddress Subdomain Features CGI-BIN Counter One of the first free hosts. Is now owned by the Lycos Network. Ads allowed. (Added: 02-Apr-1999) Look (http://www.freewebspace.net/cgi-bin/db2/more/db.cgi?sb=1&so=ascend&view_records=1&Language=English&Space=%3E0.0&Title=Tripod&Search=Search) for yourself. Peo needs to update the DB, so ads allowed hosts come up when you check the option. Yet, they're in there. Peo January 27th, 2001, 12:24 Thanks, I'll try to fix that. LeX January 27th, 2001, 12:51 Nick, I know Tripod allows it, but I'm saying here that the search results did not display any "matches", that's all. So in a way, you're right, yet you're wrong! ;) | ||||
