Does anyone know where I can download tutorials about ASP ?

I'll teach ya! ;-)

It's honestley that simple, specially if you know how to connect to databases today.

Where are you when it comes to know-how. Do you have a windows machine? Have you installed pws? Have you installed mdac 2.1 or 2.6?

Let me know where to start!

I'd like to learn it to, but I'd rather have a tutorial or a book than a person tellng me ;).

But I have to warn ya, I don't know anything about ASP

answers on your questions:
1] Yes, I have windows machine (win98)
2] I have no idea what PWS means (my translator says: Personal Web Server)
3] Again no idea what it is, but I saw that is was installed
together with my latest version of ThumbsPlus 4.10 (some thumbnail program)

Steal interested in teaching it ?, I'm ready for lesson 1 !

PWS means personal webserver, right. You'll find it on a windows disk or as an NT optionpack... I'm not sure.

You said you knew php? Then visit http://msdn.microsoft.com/scripting/default.htm?/scripting/vbscript/download/vbsdown.htm and download VBSDOC.exe

In the documentation you'll see what you can do with asp.... Well, asp is not a language in itself, it's the name of the technique.

You may use anything you want that comes from microsoft... It's really not that important since all that matters in the start is that it's RUNNING, right!?

When you have installed your PWS, then look for MDAC for your laguage at http://www.microsoft.com/data/ You don't have to make this upgrade to have your PWS to work, it's just that one day you will wait forever for the server to act, then this upgrade is the missing part. Thought I'd let ya know! :-)

Hey eclipse, i found some tutorials in my own language (dutch), so the lessons won't be necessarily anymore, but a big THX anyway.

btw : I took a little vacation, so I couldn't reply earlier.
