Tera-byte.com is growing too much i think and they don't care that much anymore about their users, at least that's what i think. We had the 4U plan. This is what we have experienced in 3 weeks (!) :

- First, the ftpadress of our folder wasn't setup correctly :(, they said we had to type folder in manually, that was the only way we can acces it
- Servers are very slow mostly, one time it was fast
- They said 20gb bandwith, they had setup 5gb bandwith a month for us, cheaters
- They said 200mb space, they setup only 50mb space
- Now we wanna add something to MySQL database true PHPMyAdmin, it isn't working :(. It isn't adding anything if you do it manually, only when there is a setup or something. If we manually add tables it isn't working. I mailed, they mailed back fast, but they didn't gave answer. I mailed back again that i wanted to have this problem solved, i asked it if they knew what it was, they haven't mailed back anymore since then

And we had a few other small problems as well. This isn't correct, if they can't handle the people they are hosting, then they have to shut down or hire more staff that's what i think, and do everything good.

I know you guys know that is a good host, i thought that too, that's why i bought their plan. But now i have experienced this, i don't want to have any more hostingplans or anything else with them. Hope you guys don't have this problem, but it's very sad. Hope you guys learn from this, maybe they are good, but from my opinion it is, stay away, know where you are dealing with ...

PS.: I'm very mad

I must say, that's a really poor effort for Tera-Byte. Wonder if things there are getting generally bad, or this was a once of sort of thing.

I expect things will get more difficult for a large company, but to counter this they should hire more people. I hope money isn't becoming more important than customers... that is one basic of capitalism that should never be broken.

Tera-byte is having trouble for some reason right now. They used to be a great company with good tech support. I still recommend them but looks like they are getting lagged.

I just got three new RAQ3's from them, They set them all up in under 12 hours of ordering, even answered 5 support tickets i sent in. I think like with all hosts this is an isolated incident. Every host is going to make mistakes you just happened to cop for one.

You are probably right in that, but still i post it here, maybe i'm not the only one. If i am the only one, too bad it happened for me :(. If i ain't the only one, then they grow to fast of have to less people or they just want money in stead of happy customers.

I've heard a few complaints about them but overall, people are happy with them.

I think they probably will hire more... if they screw the customers they don't get more money.... so they must treat the customers well.

There is nothing wrong with the number of support people we have or the server he is on, right now we are a bit behind on support because we had a UPS failure this morning, we also replaced that UPS today (sunday) with a brand new one, so yes email support is a tad lagged right now but it will be back to normal by morning.
the site in question does have a 5 gig limit set on it but thats a per day limit so the site is not capable of exceeding 150 gigs of bandwidth in a month
yes the user has a 50 meg limit but thats a 50 meg limit of his 200 megs for his own personal files not the total website.

i cant really comment on the other items as i dont knwo what website were are refering to i only know how the sites are setup

Thanks, but I think I just have bad luck with you guys then. I have had all that errors and i had 4 downtimes in 2 days. And the support was today maybe having problems, but not yesterday and a week ago. But thanks for your respond :), the downtimes aren't that bad, but all that other errors where not so nice. I shall consider to stay ... think i do maybe.
