View Full Version : Searching For A New Host... Please Make Suggestions...

Hey,
I've been using http://www.clanpage.com as a host for all of my site since I first heard of it nearly a year ago. They used to offer unlimited space, short address, no adds, ftps access and a cgi bin. Now they decided to become money grubing pricks and have changed it all around. They now have 3 different packages to choose from, 1 free and 2 that cost, the one thats free sucks and there down for upgradeing for about the 10th time in the last 3 months.
So I am looking for a new host that offers a minimum of 5 - 10megs of space, no adds, no cost and FTP access. If you could help me out It would be much appreciated.

I know this is in the wrong forum, but insted of haveing to bounce back and forth between 2 forums I'll just ask the question here.

Is there a way to make your own 404 Error page, so that if one of your links doesn't work or something, that you don't have to look at some stupid IE Default Note or the Hosting Sites Error message?

Look older threads in this forum there are almost certainly some other hosts that suit you.

http://www.ms-network.net - Had a Service Not Avalible message under there accounts tab, so I assume that means there not allow anymore hosting.

http://hosting.datablocks.com - The page couldn't be found, I went to the main page and couldn't find the hosting section.

http://www.cybercities.com - I've tried them before and wasn't very happy with there services.

Thanks for the suggestiong though, and since I just signed up to these forums I have been scouring them and checking out already suggested sites.

I need a host with no ads, ftp access, cgi/ssi support, and at least 40 megs of space (for an VERY LARGE image gallery). Can anyone help?
