I admit this looks too god to be true, but I'd like to hope that it works! They seem to have been around offering the same plans since 1997 (use archive.org).

Is it real? Why send money first? Is this WAY out of line or not?

I'm planning on buying a plan, but if anyone gives me evidence not to I'll go with MYACEN I guess.

But 150 MB plus 10 GB B/W for 20 bucks! I really want that!

Plus if they did cheat me out for 20 bucks it wouldn't be that bad. I really don't want to pay 100+ a year for hosting.

I still think it's a scam.

OK, if they have been offering the same plans since 1997, then I guess they're not a scam... :p

I think that nobody has a reason to say that cyberwings is a scam. And when you say something that is a bit "heavy" it would be good to present some facts.

companies like to lie and why did they just turn up now if they were offering the same plans 5 years ago??

they ask you for the money first then the submission
they claim to be around since '97 but how come nobody mentioned them before?
they say paypal costs them less and all that which makes them really unprofessional
also they say if you orderd your account on this day, you'll get it on some other day which I believe means you sent your money on this day and we receive it on some other day and you get screwed.

Well, maybe they were selling locally, and I'd like to inform you that there are hundreds of hosting companies that do a great job, but never get that popoular. And by the way, what's the importance of how long they're in business. Our days, the youngest and the oldest companies have the same probabilities to go down.

Well, accepting that all these are correct, I don't know exactly, I think that these are their rules and how they work. If you don't like it just don't take it. It's the number one rule of commerce. I believe that they think this way too. Get it or leave it .

I e-mailed to owner and got the following answers:

You don't send the money first, then fill out the application. He said to mail the app with the cash, by printing the app out. You only fill out the form after payment if you use Credit/PayPal I guess.

Plus, the fact that thy've been around since 1997 is not some phony statement. Go to www.archive.org and search for them. 1997 is the first time the Spider picked up their page (offering $2 hosting).

Therefore I think they're legit and worht it. I'm gonna go wtih them :)

I don't need to take it, I got my own dedicated server and I plan to expand. I just don't like their rules. And I'm just expressing my views.

They didn't just turn up, there's been plenty of mentions of them in threads around here.

I see no reason to distrust them, since I haven't heard of anyone being cheated by them. What they advertize isn't much different per dollar from discount-hosting and myqth.
