i have 800 files on NBCi, they havent deleted them in over a YEAR

Same by me: I´ve got some Zip files & Mpg (Containig parody and sudiojokes) and they were deleted as well. I wrote to their costumersupport and had a long, long thread with them: The result was the re-established my account, but i´m very nervous every time i upload some new files :-))

i am paying for a web host that has 500 megs, and a ftp account ex.. ftp://ftp.mydomain.com so i dont need nbci

but tripod.co.uk has 100 megs free, if you want that
