Had it for six years now... Damn good car! :) Greg October 26th, 2000, 18:01 3.1 litre......haha....mine above are 6.6 litre and 7.2 litre Time to get real engines ;) Mandrake October 26th, 2000, 18:13 No thanks! This one is pretty quick and doesn't suck all the money out of my wallet for gas! Webdude October 26th, 2000, 19:56 Mine took out a guardrail a month after it was bought because a kid high on model glue walked out in front of me on a 4 lane highway. Insurance company refused to buy another and had it rebuilt. Limited lifetime warranty on almost everything and tons more power than before. It's got the high performance chip and all. You should feel the rear end kick in when you stomp it doing 90. It's too powerful to drive on a wet day. Then I have my hobby car that I am fixing up for the heck of it. Just an old 88 Gran Fury with a 318. Nothing special about it....yet. And the car in the pic, everytime the littlest thing goes wrong, it goes in the shop. I make good use of my warranties. If a part gets replaced, the part comes with a fresh warranty and I never pay a dime unless its something like battery or tires which are pro-rated. http://worldzone.net/webdude/ My baby (-: BLACKOUT October 26th, 2000, 22:14 I get my permet (did I spell that right?) in 2 weeks, :D god it suck not being able to drive, :( and seeing my car sitting in the drive way everyday on my way to school, :( --BLK Mandrake October 27th, 2000, 00:18 wet day. Then I have my hobby car that I am fixing up for the heck of it. Just an old 88 Gran Fury with a 318. Nothing special about it....yet. Heh... I used to have a '71 Fury III with a 360... One fast SOB! One big SOB, too! :) Webdude October 27th, 2000, 08:10 Yeah I wish my Fury had a bigger engine like that. What I dont get is why the heck they would put a 318 in this car, and then choke it down with a little old one barrel carb. That only makes it use more gas because the engine has to work harder. I have to change out the intake and heads to put in a 4-barrel Edelbrock carb. That sucks. Mandrake October 27th, 2000, 10:21 Heh... I know that one too. My cousin had a '77 Volare with the 318/one-barrel combo. It was supposed to be "economical", but you're right... It wasn't. It was a bloody dog too! I remember driving it once and it was slower than the 2.8L V-6 that I had at the time. :( bitsmart October 29th, 2000, 09:41 We need a motorheads forum. LeX January 20th, 2001, 23:33 ooh... OLD post! :) Blackout, if nobody ever told ya... Yea.... you spelled permit wrong. :D | ||||
